Are pecans healthy and good for you? Like all nuts, they are calorically dense, so you want to eat them in moderation. If you do that, pecans in particular are an extremely good choice because they are the highest antioxidant nut. Their only weakness is that they are lower in protein versus other nuts like almonds, peanuts, walnuts, and cashews.
